Melanie Zanetti is an award-winning actor and voice over artist, who works in Australia and internationally. In 2021, she acted in the feature film Raven’s Hollow shot in Latvia and Part 2 of the romance trilogy Gabriel’s Rapture filmed in the US and Italy. Melanie is the voice of Chilli in the beloved Australian animation Bluey, which has received an Emmy, two AACTAs and has become an international sensation.
Her other film credits include Paramount’s Love and Monsters in which Melanie combined her skills as an actor (in the role of Kala), and voicing the Robot character Mav1s. Melanie’s first US role was in the HBO/ Project Greenlight feature The Leisure Class, executive produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Earlier features include Battle of The Damned opposite Dolph Lundgren, The Contents, In like Flynn and Tracks, which starred Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver.
Her television work includes Young Rock (NBC) The End (Foxtel/ Sky TV) The Regular Cast role of Orla in The Bureau of Magical Things (Nickelodeon /Network 10), The Family Law (SBS) and Tidelands (Netflix).
Her critically-acclaimed, mainstage theatre credits include the 2019 premiere of Joanna Murray Smith’s L’Appartement, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, The Crucible, her Matilda Award winning portrayals of Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion and Ellen The Little Dog Laughed (all for Queensland Theatre). She also played Catherine/Cathy in the world premiere stage adaptation of Wuthering Heights.
