Join us for a rare and exclusive one-off casting workshop with the renowned Anousha Zarkesh Casting in BRISBANE. This special class, available only to the Brisbane HubStudio community, will take place at in Milton from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday 17th OR Wednesday 18th February 2026.
Anousha Zarkesh is a multi-award-winning casting director, recently honoured with the 2024 AACTA Award and multiple 2025 Casting Guild of Australia (CGA) Awards, including Best Casting in a Feature Film for The Correspondent and Best Casting in a TV Drama for Mystery Road: Origin Season 2.
Established for over 25 years, Anousha Zarkesh Casting specialises in a broad range of prominent and often prestigious Australian Film and Television productions. Based in Sydney, this casting agency is known for its specialised service, championing cultural diversity and local Indigenous talent. With experience across genres including political satire, drama, comedy, telemovies, documentary series, and film, Anousha Zarkesh Casting has built a stellar reputation in the industry.
The workshop will kick off with an insightful round-table discussion, followed by the opportunity to run pre-prepared scenes under Anousha’s expert guidance. This is a unique chance to work closely with one of Australia’s top casting directors, so don’t miss out on this last-minute opportunity.

Michelle has been a casting director for over 25 years now. Her speciality is commercial casting but she loves to cast Movies as well.
Michelle is Head of Commercial Division at Ben Parkinson Casting. Her experience has seen her cast over 800 campaigns including many worldwide release campaigns. Michelle has cast jobs all across Australia and extending to New Zealand on a few campaigns. She has a great ability to bring out the best performances in talent with her nurturing nature and is greatly loved by our adult and child actors alike.
