Lauren Jackson is an actress and voice over artist whose career has spanned stage, screen and radio for the past ten years. Classically trained in dance at QUT, film and television studies at Film TVI and Voice and text at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Lauren offers a uniquely diverse perspective when it comes to her arts practise. Facilitating workshops for Queensland Theatre, Shake & Stir Theatre Co, Mad Dance House, Grin and Tonic Theatre Troupe and Homunculus Theatre Company. Featuring in many National ad campaigns including Suncorp and Dan Murphy’s, voicing campaigns for Griffith University, Queensland Tourism, Wallace Bishop and Flight Centre. Stage productions include; The Odd Couple and Macbeth Queensland Theatre Company, Bastard Territory, as a co-production with QTC and JUTE Theatre Company, The Wider Earth, as a co production with QTC and Dead Puppets Society, Laser Beak Man with Dead Puppets Society (in development with the New Victory theatre New York) Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche with Imprint Theatricals, Holding the Man with La Boite Theatre Company, Medea: The River Runs Backwards and Vikram and the Vampire with Zen Zen Zo, Le Corsaire with Bolshoi Ballet and Carmen with Opera Queensland. Lauren also has a very diverse film and television background, featuring in such projects as E-Motion, The Baby Whisperer, The Hunters Club, God I Love You, Million Dollar Toes, Winkman P.I, Forever, After the Fall, Change in Fortune, Douglas Eats Your Heart, Ruby, Illusion 5 and pilots such as The W.A.S.P.S Nest and Schadenfreude.
